GOOD TO KNOW

Quick tips for dog life in Bali

The tropical climate comes with a few things every dog parent should know.

Keep them hydrated

Bali's heat means 2–3× more water. Always carry fresh water on walks.

Rabies vaccination

Mandatory in Bali. Keep your dog's vaccine card handy — vets may ask.

Avoid midday heat

Walk early or late. Pavement can burn paws between 11am–3pm.

Beach safety

Watch for sea urchins and currents. Rinse with fresh water after a swim.

Toxic plants

Frangipani, oleander, and sago palms are common here and toxic. Stay watchful.

Been looking for a decent dog food brand here for ages. This site actually lists what's available locally instead of stuff you can't even buy in Bali. Saved me so much time.

Love the walking spots section! Found a few hidden trails near Ubud I didn't even know about. My dog was so happy haha.
